Getting Ready for RootsTech
Although RootsTech 2025 is still over three months away, preparations have already begun for the big event. Registration has been open since September of this year, and speakers and exhibitors are preparing their materials in advance.
The Family History Guide Association will have a spacious 30×30-foot booth close to the FamilySearch booth in the Exhibit Hall, with a seating area for on-demand classes and a number of workstations for demos for visitors. As Bronze-level Sponsors, we have quite a to-do list for both the live and the virtual components of the event. Here’s a summary of the some of the tasks we will be working on in preparation for the RootsTech 2025:
- Social media, blog posts, and promotional messaging for RootsTech
- Videos for product demos, tips and tricks, and company introduction
- Downloadable PDF files for product information
- Summary for the Introduction to The Family History Guide) class offered at RootsTech in Salt Lake City
- On-Demand Virtual Library video
- 60-minute online webinar
If you come to RootsTech 2025 in Salt Lake, be sure to stop by our booth and say hello. If you are attending online, stay tuned for details in the coming weeks about how to find our virtual booth and take advantage of its features.
See you there. I’m throwing my hat in the ring to work a shift at The Family History Booth.
Thank you, Bonnie!
