Global

  • Ancestor Hunt—Ancestor Hunt hosts 18 resource categories: yearbooks, obituaries, newspapers, church records, directories, naturalization, photos, cemetery records, voter records, probate and wills, BMD records (birth/marriage/death), school records, alumni records, mortuary records, divorce records, marriage records, immigration and travel records, and coroner records.

China

  • My China Roots—Users can search surnames, graves and burial records, villages, zupus, a knowledge base, ancestors, and the zupu world catalog. Searches can be done in Chinese or English.

Italy

  • Portale Atenati—”The portal offers free online access to millions of Italian civil records created as early as 1809 and as late as the 1930s with more records added each day. The portal also includes some military records which are more difficult to find elsewhere. It currently has over 71 million digitized images covering almost a million registries from 52 state archives.”

Slovakia

  • Slovak Pride Database—The database hosts 30,000 entries for Slovakian surnames and villages. There are five navigational tabs: Home, Our Slovakia, Search, Feedback, and Slovakia Map.

United States

  • Western States Marriage Index—”The goal for this index is to have marriages from all 12 western states at the fingertips of family researchers. As of January 30, 2022, this file contains over 913,340 marriage records with additional entries being added nearly every working day.”
