One of the singular features of The Family History Guide is that you can teach just about any family history topic right from the website, without needed to prepare slide decks or handouts. In the Trainers menu there is a Worksheets page where you can download a worksheet that helps you outline each class you want to teach.

Introducing “Quick Prep”

Now we’ve added an additional option for classes or mentoring. If your training is more informal or smaller in scope, or if you are already well familiar with the subject matter, the Quick Prep approach could be just what you need. Basically, you assign Resource Stars to the articles and videos you want to reference in The Family History Guide, using video Info links to access timings of interest inside selected videos. That way you can see at a glance what you need to cover during the training session.
