Quotes from our Booth Workers

While participating in RootsTech I had the pleasure of hosting in the Family History Guide booth in the Expo Hall.  It is so easy to share the news of the Family History Guide.  It is a powerful tool to learn how to do family history and engage our families and friends in family history activities and it is free to all!  This was such a great discovery for many, many people! – JH

I had person after person say (some of them in tears), “This solves so many problems. This is just what I need. Why didn’t I know about this before?” There were many, many people who knew about and loved The Family Hisory Guide, but when I showed them a few more features they were jumping with joy! One said, “I was always stopped with learning about FamilySearch.” After I showed her the Come, Follow Me Companion, researching, and more, she was just ecstatic with the increased possibilities. I showed one person how to use Smile.Amazon.com to make donations and he was so happy to know about it and said they would use that. -AT

These past 5 days have provided a great opportunity for sharing The Family History Guide with total strangers. Each individual brought a bit different story of struggle, while trying to do much the same work as others. Every single soul that I had the pleasure of introducing The Family History Guide to, made the same kind of comment at the end of my introduction: our wonderful, useful product was the absolute highlight of the entire RootsTech week. I had several individuals who were familiar with the website, but they had not realized that the Come, Follow Me Companion was available. Many individuals made remarks such as, “How in the world do you continue to add these incredible features?” -PM
