We blogged earlier about the terrific volunteers who are assisting us this year at RootsTech 2020. A few weeks ago we also did an online training session for them,  to get everyone up to speed on giving demos for The Family History Guide website at RootsTech. 

It occurred to us that the document we used for training, with a few modifications, could be helpful for others who give demos of The Family History Guide website, such as at Family History Fairs, genealogy conventions, etc.

We call it the Demo Training Guide.

Note that the “30 Things to See” document on the website has a wider scope of topics, while the Demo Training Guide has more tips and guidelines for the actual demos.

We are providing a link to the document below. It’s in Word format so you can modify it as needed for local use. It is also available for download on the website, in the Trainers Resources page.
