The Family History Guide Booth at RootsTech

As you probably know, The Family History Guide Association will have a large booth space in the RootsTech Expo Hall in Salt Lake City in just over two weeks. Here’s a brief recap of what we will be offering at the booth for RootsTech 2025:

  • Demos: As in years past, we will have demo tables with workstations to show The Family History Guide to visitors. Free pass-along cards are available to those visiting the booth.
  • Viewpoint Corner: At the left front corner of the booth we’ll have a comfy ottoman and a few chairs for those who would like to sit and watch our brand new videos that will be airing nationwide on PBS channels, courtesy of the Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid project.
  • Q&A Sessions: This year we are trying something new in our theatre space: Q&A sessions.
  • Cornhole Game: This popular game is back, and we have an alley space in the booth where cornhole competitiors young and old can win snack prizes and answer family history trivia questions along the way.

Here’s a quick rendering of how the booth is shaping up, with the Viewpoint Corner on the left, the theater seating in the middle, and the demo stations in the front:

If you are at RootsTech 2025 in Salt Lake City, be sure to stop by and say hello, grab some pass-along cards, and learn more about how The Family History guide can help you in your genealogy journey.
