Update: Sample Outlines for Training
We’ve recently added the following Sample Outlines for training with The Family History Guide:
These are Word files that you can download and customize as needed. More Sample Outlines will be added in the coming weeks. You can find the current list in Sample Outlines, in the Trainers menu.
Updated Headings
We have also updated the headings in each of the Sample Outlines. The title is now linked to the starting Goal for the class, in The Family History Guide. Linked logos are also included when classes apply to a specific learning platform (FamilySearch, Ancestry, MyHeritage, or Findmypast), and for some classes a link to corresponding material in the Vault has been added. A sample heading is shown below.
Instructor Prep
In the Sample Outlines page, a link has been added to Instructor Prep and Delivery in the Trainers Corner page, which is followed by Involving the Learner. These Choices help you customize your outlines with personalized examples and activities.
Retiring the Instructor Tips Documents
In the Course Catalog, there are links to separate Instructor Tips documents. These will be retired from The Family History Guide in the near future, with the Sample Outlines taking their place.
