ViewPoint with Dennis Quaid: Filming Update
This week we completed the video filming for our partnership project with ViewPoint and The Family History Guide Association. The next step will be video editing, a process that will take about five to six weeks. Then the PBS video, documentary video, and 30-second commercial will be released nationwide sometime between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Those who were interviewed on camera for the project include:
- David Rencher, FamilySearch Chief Genealogical Officer and President of the Board of Directors of the National Genealogical Society
- Bob Ives, Executive Director of The Family History Guide Association
- Bob Taylor, Development Director and creator of The Family History Guide website
- Angelle Anderson, Marketing Director
- Scott Anderson, Public Relations Director
- Maribel Medina, Training Representative
- Olivia Jewell, Family History Activities Specialist
- Ella Jewell, Youth Family History Ambassador
It was a busy and exciting day of filming in Utah. Below are some pictures we captured of the proceedings; we hope you enjoy them! We will provide an update when the finished videos are ready for broadcast, which should be some time after Thanksgiving.
