Hello, I’m Bob Ives, the Executive Director and co-founder of The Family History Guide Association. We have been very blessed over the past six years with wonderful volunteers, users, and miracles galore. Like you, we have been tremendously impacted by the pandemic. The year 2021 promises to be our biggest year ever, in that we have the potential of reaching hundreds of thousands of people in over 180 countries through our association with RootsTech Connect. We can’t do it alone.

That’s where you come in. The Family History Guide Association and its website, The Family History Guide, need your support more than ever. We are funded entirely by donations. Our organization is comprised entirely of volunteers. The pandemic has seriously affected our ability to fundraise and to carry out our mission. Now, more than ever, we need funding to take advantage of the opportunities presenting themselves for 2021.
