Come, Follow Me is a resource offered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is designed to be used in the home to support personal and family scripture study to build faith in Heavenly Father and His plan of salvation and in the Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Come, Follow Me is self-contained and adequate, when used properly. Products and materials designed to supplement this resource, though they may be helpful in some instances, are not necessary for a successful home study program.
Matthew 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20–21
Jesus Christ was resurrected
From Come, Follow Me
In these passages, you will read about one of the most important events in the history of humankind: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. As you read, put yourself in the place of the people who witnessed the events surrounding the Resurrection. What do you learn from their experiences?
What would it have been like to witness the events of the last week of the Savior’s life? See Week 15: April 3–9 2023 for an activity which is adaptable and can be experienced by groups or families. Record this role-play for your posterity. Include your feelings as you put yourself in the place of the people who witnessed these events.
Additional resources for your role-play experience:
Consider reading and recording "The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles” as a family by dividing it into sections and taking turns using the FamilySearch Memories Audio App or the "Record My Story" feature.
I can invite the Savior to “abide with [me]
From Come, Follow Me
How do you recognize [Christ’s] presence in your life?
President Nelson: "We can ... hear Him in the temple…please schedule regular time to worship and serve in the temple. Every minute of that time will bless you and your family in ways nothing else can. Take time to ponder what you hear and feel when you are there. Ask the Lord to teach you how to open the heavens to bless your life and the lives of those you love and serve…I promise that as you increase your time in temple and family history work, you will increase and improve your ability to hear Him." (Hear Him)
The Family History Guide is your “go to” place as you increase your time doing family history work and serving in the temple. Spend some time exploring this helpful, free site. See the menus at the top of each website page; or click on "Get Started." Use the search bar for any questions you have. For example, if you want to learn how to upload Memories to FamilySearch, go to FamilySearch Project 2: Memories and you'll find all the help you need. With The Family History Guide, you don't need to be the "library," you're just the "librarian!"
President Nelson invited us to make the Sabbath a delight by spending time doing family history: "Searching for and finding family members who have preceded you on earth—those who did not have an opportunity to accept the gospel while here—can bring immense joy." The Sabbath Is a Delight

Check out Ordinances Ready which is a FamilySearch tool that simplifies finding names for the temple. Seealso: Ordinances Ready on the FamilySearch App.
Plan a time to do work for your ancestors in the temple if you are able. If not, see Reserved Ordinances in The Family History Guide for ways to share the names you have reserved.
Ask questions and preserve the answers!
Call grandparents to ask them family history questions. You can take a photo of what you write and then upload it to FamilySearch Memories. Another option is to have someone else record the conversation and then preserve it. See also 10 Questions Everyone Should Ask Their Grandparents.
Experience the wide variety of family history activities and games available on the free BYU Family History Technology Lab site. You will need to have a free FamilySearch account with at least four generations filled in on your part of the family tree.
