Come, Follow Me is a resource offered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is designed to be used in the home to support personal and family scripture study to build faith in Heavenly Father and His plan of salvation and in the Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Come, Follow Me is self-contained and adequate, when used properly. Products and materials designed to supplement this resource, though they may be helpful in some instances, are not necessary for a successful home study program.

From Come, Follow Me:
Many Jews found it difficult to accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Notice how the Epistle to the Hebrews testifies of Him. For example, as you read the first five chapters, you might make a list of Jesus Christ’s titles, roles, attributes, and works that you find mentioned. What do these things teach you about the Savior? What do they teach you about Heavenly Father?
How do we assure that our posterity will know how we feel about the gospel of Jesus Christ? Have we recorded our testimonies and those of other living relatives to give our posterity the strength of our conviction?
To create an opportunity for those you love to be influenced by your testimony now and in the future, you can preserve a hand-written document by uploading it as a photo, and you can record your personal witness of Jesus Christ on FamilySearch using the FamilySearch Memories Audio app or the Record My Story feature on FamilySearch Discovery. You can also share the document or audio recording with others via facebook, email, etc. by tapping the "Share" symbol.
Recording can be done individually or in a family setting or with others. You may want to help young children write or record what they feel about Jesus.
Your testimonies may contain the very words that will help family members strengthen their own testimonies.
"'And we write according to our prophecies' [2 Nephi 25:26] suggests the wisdom of making a permanent record of our testimony of Christ. We understand that the testimonies we bear are 'recorded in heaven for the angels to look upon; and they rejoice over [us]' (D&C 62:3). Our own descendants and others may look upon and rejoice over our witness of Christ written or recorded for their benefit." Todd D. Christofferson Becoming a Witness of Christ
When we examine the positive attributes of those ancestors who have gone on before us, we can see how their example can continually influence our lives and make us better people. Learning about how they tried to be like the Savior, and learning about how the Savior testified of and exemplified His Father gives us role models to follow in our own lives.
You and your family might enjoy creating a booklet or a collection of any testimonies of the Savior that you possess from the records of your ancestors. Consider making a collection of the stories of the first converts in your family lines. See Ten Ways To Discover, Gather, and Share Ancestor Stories.
Print copies here.
As a family, you may want to audio or video record members of your own family taking turns reading from The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles. You could also audio record it directly to FamilySearch using the FamilySearch Memories Audio app or the Record My Story feature on FamilySearch Discovery. You could record excerpts or read it all.
Hebrews 2:9–18; 4:12–16; 5:7–8
Jesus Christ suffered all things so that He can understand and help me when I suffer
From Come, Follow Me:
What do you find in Hebrews 2:9–18; 4:12–16; 5:7–8 that strengthens your confidence that Jesus Christ will help you with your mortal challenges? Consider recording in a journal your thoughts and feelings about what the Savior has done for you.
In his October 2007 General Conference address, O Remember, Remember, Henry B. Eyring relates why he began writing things down and the blessings of recognizing the Lord's hand in his life. Consider keeping a gratitude journal.
"Tonight, and tomorrow night, you might pray and ponder, asking the questions: Did God send a message that was just for me? Did I see His hand in my life or the lives of my children? I will do that. And then I will find a way to preserve that memory ..."
A family journal can be a wonderful experience also. Discuss as a family what you would like to include in your journal, and how you will write about the Lord’s tender mercies in your family. Take turns writing a little about what you have learned or what has happened to you and your family. Let the younger children "write" with their artwork. Be sure to write about your feelings, too. Read The Benefits and Blessings of Keeping A Family Journal to learn more.
Remember that what you write can also be uploaded to FamilySearch Memories. With the FamilySearch Family Tree app and FamilySearch Memories app, gathering, audio-recording, sharing, and preserving oral histories has never been easier.
From Come, Follow Me:
In what ways has Jesus shown that He loves righteousness and hates iniquity? If we have unrighteous desires, what can we do to change them?
How can I overcome temptations and bad habits? Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have the power to help you. Fill your life with things that invite that power into your life, such as prayer, scripture study, and service to others. Turn to Jesus Christ and His gospel and you will find that weaknesses can become strengths. Seek help from parents, leaders, and professional counselors as needed. For those who suffer from addiction, the Church offers an addiction recovery program. These are blessings the Savior’s Church provides to help you regain control of your life. It will take time, so be patient, and never give up. (For the Strength of Youth> - see the questions section of the page)
