1. What were the residences of the parents of the groom and parents of the bride?
2. Did both the bride and groom sign the marriage document? How do we know?
3. Following Charles's patrilineal (male) line, what was the name of his ancestor who was born in France but died in New France (Quebec)?

1. In the FamilySearch collection noted above, search for Charles Thibault.
2. Use the index transcription to answer the first question and the record image to answer the second question.
3. In "Attached in Family Tree to" (upper right) click the link for Charles Thibault and find the answer to the third question in FamilySearch Family Tree.

1. The groom's parents were living in Saint-Alexandre-d'Iberville; the bride's parents were living in De Cette Paroisse.
2. Signatures of both the bride and groom can be seen at the end of entry 94 in the online record for the parish book.
3. Charles's ancestor who was born in France and died in Quebec was Guillaume Thibaut.
